Recently, I sat down with realtor Michael Ross Hoffman to discuss his history in real estate as well as his past career as a professional hockey player.
Michael is currently an agent with Compass who’s on a mission to help everyone find their place in the world.

When asked why he decided to create a coloring book he said, “During my first interview prior to joining, they showed all of the marketing platforms and one was a coloring book. Having three kids (4,3 & 1.5) that love coloring and the majority of my clients have been young families, I was sold on the spot with the coloring book being the first objective after joining Compass. I had a few page idea’s but it was our marketing director Abby who put the final concept together, she is beyond creative and thrilled on how it came out. I have kept a big file of photo’s over the years which made it easy to tie family, hockey career & real estate into the book.”
Michael said that he handed out over 200 copies of the coloring book after the first 2 days of showcasing one of his clients’ homes. He said, “[A] coloring book is an incredible opportunity for any individual or company that wants to promote/market their business. Almost everyone has or knows someone with young kids that would adore it.”
